Empowering Detroit’s Youth: Mentorship in Action at Life Directions
Our Peer Mentor Program is in full swing. High School Mentors (upperclassmen) are mentoring 9th and 10th grade Mentees to make school work for them.
This past year 76% of students surveyed increased their academic motivation.
They are prepared to see college or career as viable options after graduation!
Your investment has enabled us to make a major difference in the lives and futures
of over 180,000 young adults and their families!
We are dependent on your generosity to continue to enable us to reach the future generations of teens living in at risk environments.
We are proud to share a tremendous moment with all of you:
Life Directions’ program manager, Jim Ryder, caught up with Peer Motivation and Focus Family alumnus Jatonah. She is currently working as an assistant clothing designer for a Major Athletic Company on the East Coast.
Support our mission to stop violence and save lives.
Our gratitude to you for making moments like these possible!
