Life Directions, founded in 1973, to engage the causes of violence with a view to peace building programs activities among youth and young adults from 13 to 35 years of age. Over 168,000 youth, young adults and adults who care about them have been impacted by the mission in both public schools and their surrounding neighborhoods. Its four core values are self-responsibility, balanced relationships, partnership in diversity and mission focused on the next generation. It is operational in Detroit and Chicago.

1. Work with Board members to identify potential donors to manage expansion of additional, influential/connected board members

2. Drive new/existing funding opportunities: e.g. Spark of Hope (May 2020), Dance-A-Thon

3. Execute small event opportunities to network and cultivate donors

4. Be responsible for grant research and request execution

5. Manage PR and Marketing by overseeing initiatives

6. Manage social media efforts with supported youth/young adults
