Our Work

Our work in the community starts with the Core Programs, which are designed to serve at risk young adults from 13-35. The values promoted by, and incorporated through, our core programs benefit young men and women throughout their life. So they can mature into excellent adults capable of giving life to their families and communities. Our programs are:

The Ladder of Development gives structure to our interconnected programs and illustrates this sequential process.

Our Quality Assurance efforts are demonstrated by our National Training Center, which trains staff and peer leaders.

Using Evidenced-Based Outcomes we evaluate and measure the effectiveness of our programs. Researchers at Loyola University, the University of Michigan and Chicago Public Schools all conclude that our participants grow in the areas of responsibility, compassion and values.
